The LOVE TO DREAM SWADDLE UP™ TRANSITION BAG - Explained
What is the Stage Two Transition Bag - and how do you use it?
Well, if you’ve been swaddling your baby from the beginning, they no doubt love the sensation of being wrapped up tightly around the middle and the arms. However, once your baby starts to roll, it is no longer safe to restrict them in an Arms UP position.
The SWADDLE UP™ TRANSITION BAG is a gentle transitional sleep solution which helps safely preserve a baby’s sleep schedule while also making the move to arms-free sleep.
As with the Stage One swaddles, the Stage Two bags have been created with a snug fit upper chest, however they also feature zip-off wings. If baby is ready to transition right away, you can start with one wing on and one removed. After a few nights of your baby getting used to this, remove the other wing so both arms are free!
Available in a 1.0 TOG for moderate temperatures and 0.2 TOG for warmer temperatures.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
Question: What's the easiest way to transition my baby?
If your baby has not shown signs of rolling yet, you can simply allow them to sleep in the SWADDLE UP™ TRANSITION BAG until they show signs of trying to roll.
Once they show signs of trying to roll over, you must stop swaddling your baby and transition them. Start with one ARMS UP™ wing attached and one removed.
After several nights of your baby settling into this routine, remove both wings.
Some babies transition in a few nights, others can take a few weeks. The SWADDLE UP™ TRANSITION BAG is especially helpful for any baby who is having a harder time going from being swaddled to arms-free sleep.
Question: Can I use the SWADDLE UP™ TRANSITION BAG if my baby has been swaddled with arms down?
Absolutely. The SWADDLE UP™ TRANSITION BAG was created to help all babies transition to arms-free sleep easily, whether they have been swaddled with arms up or arms down.
