Is my baby tired or just bored?
As a parent, it can be difficult to understand whether your baby is tired or just bored. It’s important to distinguish between the two because both require different solutions. When trying to figure out if your baby is tired or just bored, there are several things you should consider.
If you think that your baby may be tired but are not sure, there are some signs that you can look for as indicators of fatigue. These include excessive yawning and fussiness; if these behaviors occur during naptime or bedtime then they likely indicate that your little one needs more rest than usual. Additionally, changes in eating habits such as decreased appetite could also suggest exhaustion - you should put them down for a nap or allow them some quiet time away from any distractions so that they can relax and get back on track with their energy levels.

On the other hand, if they seem energetic but still alert then boredom could very well be the culprit here instead of fatigue! To combat this issue try engaging in activities that stimulate their imagination such as reading stories together or introducing new toys into playtime sessions - these will help keep them entertained while also helping boost cognitive development at the same time!
Your baby will give you little clues that they're bored, such as yawning, looking away, squirming, and crying. If you think your baby’s bored, show them you’re listening by giving them something different to do. Move them to another area of the room, pick up a different toy or just give them a little quiet time.
